2013 AFCON Semi-final
Teams: Burkina Faso v Ghana
Date: 6 February 2013
Venue: Mbombela Stadium
Ghana will be looking to push on to the final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations but will first have to see off a well-organised Burkina Faso in the semi-final.
The Black Stars, one of the pre-tournament favourites to lift the title, have not always been able to produce their best form at the showpiece - and most recently scraped their way to a 2-0 win over Cape Verde, where their goalkeeper proved to be the star man.
The Stallions of Burkina Faso may not have the same fire power as their opponents, but they can almost boast home advantage after having played all of their games on the bumpy Mbombela pitch.
Burkina Faso progressed to the final four following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Togo, with the goal coming through Jonathan Pitroipa in extra-time.
The Stallions will have to continue without influential playmaker Alain Traore, who was ruled out of the tournament with injury after an explosive start.
Standard Bank Key Man: Mubarak Wakaso. The Espanyol midfielder has played a crucial role for the Black Stars, having netted both of their goals in the quarter-final, and has showed great composure from the spot - having also scored against Mali in the group stages from 12 yards out.
This is how they line up:
Burkina Faso: Daouda Diakite, Mohamed Koffi, Bakary Kone, Paul Koulibaly, Mady Panandetiguiri, Djakaridja Kone, Charles Kabore, Florent Rouamba, Prejuce Nakoulma, Jonathan Pitroipa, Aristides Bance.
Ghana: Fatau Dauda, John Pantsil, Isaac Vorsah, John Boye, Harrison Afful, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Rabiu Mohammed, Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu, Mubarak Wakaso, Asamoah Gyan.
