Former AmaZulu striker, Sifiso Vilakazi, has been commended for the job he has been doing, both on and off the field, at Sivutsa Stars.
According to the NFD side’s spokesperson, Charles Nkosi, Vilakazi’s experience will help the team in their aim to achieve success this season.
“He is good, very good. He has played two games already for us this season. He played against Witbank Spurs and Blackburn Rovers. He has enough experience to guide the young boys we have in the team. When they sit and discuss issues he gives them advice and stuff like that,” said Nkosi.
Vilakazi had hopes of continuing his career in the PSL after leaving Usuthu at the end of last season.
However, the 34-year-old was unsuccessful in his trials with University of Pretoria and Bloemfontein Celtic, respectively.
Vilakazi has played for Free State Stars, Ajax Cape Town and Wits, among other clubs in his career.
