The Bethlehem side travelled to KZN in an attempt by Steve Komphela and his technical team to keep the players active, while preparing for the next game against AmaZulu in the Telkom Knockout on the weekend.

Stars won their first game against City 1-0 and lost to United by the same score line in the final. Stars’ next league game will be against Ajax Cape Town in the Mother City on October 23.

The team’s last official game was the 1-0 win over Arrows on September 18.
