Free State Stars will aim to claim a place in the top eight of the Absa Premiership table when they take on AmaZulu in the league this weekend.

Ea Lla Koto received a morale booster with a 1-0 win over Polokwane City in their last league game, while AmaZulu drew 1-1 at home with Bloemfontein Celtic in their last outing.

Stars won one game already against AmaZulu this season when the two sides came against each other in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout.

Stars won both times when the two teams played against each other in the league last season.
