Platinum Stars are expected to make changes for their game against Kaizer Chiefs, as the team will be aiming for a return to winning ways at the expense of the struggling Amakhosi.
Having won their opening game of the season against SuperSport United in the league, Dikwena were beaten by Chippa United in their game in the MTN8.
A defensive error by Isaac Nhlapo resulted in a goal by Chippa’s in-form striker Rhulani Manzini. Sources close to Stars have alerted the Siya crew that Coach Cavin Johnson is considering making changes at the back for the game against Chiefs.
“Platinum Stars are likely to make changes in their defence for the game against Kaizer Chiefs. Isaac Nhlapo could make way for Rofhiwa Tshikovhi,” said the source.
As reported, Chiefs have been boosted with the return of Siphiwe Tshabalala from injury, with the experienced player expected to be available for selection for Wednesday’s game against Dikwena.
