Mpumalanga Black Aces defender, Omar Hendricks and midfielder, Stanley Kgatla could be set to leave the club after failing to get game time last season.
The duo’s contracts will expire at the end of June, and according to a source close to Aces, the club will not be retaining the two players.
“Omar has a one-year option in his contract, but the club will not take up that option. As for Stanley, he didn’t make any contribution to the team last season, so he hasn’t given the club any reason to give him a new contract,” the source told the Siya crew.
Kgatla’s agent, Gerald Baloyi, confirmed to the crew that he is busy trying to get a club for the 31-year-old midfielder.
“I’m talking to some clubs about Stanley. He might not have played that much at Aces last season, but he still has a lot to offer, especially in the PSL,” Baloyi told the crew.
Hendricks spent much of last season nursing a long-term injury, while Kgatla, who joined AmaZayoni from AmaZulu, made just one substitute appearance for the club last season.
