SuperSport United are not done in the transfer market and are planning to look at new possible signings for their front line.
Along with the acquisition of a new head coach, Cavin Johnson, Matsatsantsa have brought in a whole host of new faces to the club, including the likes of Thuso Phala and Kurt Lentjies, as well as re-signing Mame Niang.
The head coach has now revealed that, following the exit of Kermit Erasmus to Orlando Pirates, he is on the lookout for a new forward.
Speaking to their club’s website he said, “We still need to consolidate our firepower after losing Erasmus to Pirates; the new striker will join us this week for an assessment. We are actually looking at two strikers, one is local and the other one is an international. We are happy with what we have at the moment.”

After making a host of new signings in the offseason there will no doubt be expectations at SuperSport for the club to challenge for honours in this campaign and not finish the season trophyless as they did in 2012/13.
