Despite interest from both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, United FC attacker, Tshwarelo Bereng, has signed a four-year contract with Moroka Swallows.
The 22-year-old was a star performer for his club in the NFD last season, playing a crucial role in their march to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup, before losing to eventual champions, Chiefs.
Bereng, who scored 12 goals for United this past season, now looks set to be playing in the PSL in his next campaign with Swallows, beating off competition from the Soweto giants as well as SuperSport United and Wits.
A source close to the club revealed that Bereng has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Dube Birds, although there has been no official confirmation as of yet.
Meanwhile, Serbian goalkeeper, Igor Bondzulic, also looks set to complete his move to Dobsonville at some point in the near future, as the Birds look to bolster their squad ahead of the 2013/14 season.
