A South African young star will aim to emulate the likes of Thabo Rakhale and Thabo Mnyamane through a youth tournament in KwaZulu-Natal.

The young star is Malebo Mmusetsi from the North West University which is campaigning in the SAB League. NWU is one of the teams participating in the annual SAB U21 National Championships currently taking place in KZN this year.

Mmusetsi was a star performer for NWU during his team’s victory as he bagged an assist for their first goal and scored the second goal to beat their opponents from the Western Cape.

The youngster will look to follow in the footsteps of Rakhale and Mnyamane who both played in the SAB League for the same team on their way to becoming household names in the PSL.

“We want to take our province to another level because we are the underdogs at this tournament. We came here to prove a point and we really had a good game (against Western Cape),” said Mmusetsi.
