South African Midfielder Furthering His Career Overseas
A South African youngster, Sibusiso Magwaza, who is a former Bidvest Wits Academy player, is furthering his career in Europe.
Magwaza is in Lithuania where he has joined FK Utenis Utena FC. The 22-year-old midfielder joined the club on a one-year deal with an option to extend for a further one year.
Magwaza’s representative, Isaac Moalosi, confirmed that the player is now furthering his career overseas.
According to Magwaza’s representative, the player’s wish is to play in the Europa League and to also to represent South Africa one day as part of the senior national team.
Magwaza came through the junior ranks with the likes of Sipho-Sihle Mtule and Paseka Sekese.
While some of the players he played with at Wits’ juniors have gone on to make their professional debuts in the PSL, Magwaza decided to launch his career overseas.
