South African striker, Davide Somma, is still undergoing rehabilitation with Leeds United despite not being contracted to the club.
Leeds revealed back in June that they would not be renewing the 28-year-old’s deal at the club, following a spate of injuries that has seen him make just a handful of appearances in the last two years.
The Siya crew have now been informed that former Bafana Bafana striker is currently still with Leeds as the club help him to recover from his latest operation and that he could possibly regain full fitness in around a months time.
A host of teams in the English Championship are said to be monitoring the progress of the talented striker, with Barnsley thought to be one of the interested parties, although the player is currently focused on returning to fitness rather than where his next contract will be.
The crew are led to believe that Somma feels he has some unfinished business in England, although he hasn’t completely ruled out a move to South Africa in the future.
