Polokwane City coach, Boebie Solomons, has revealed that his preparations to get their second round campaign underway, are going smooth.
This follows a number of friendlies against PSL and NFD clubs where coach Solomons said he was pleased with how things have been in the camp, and is looking forward to their first game in 2014 against Platinum Stars.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic assistant coach revealed that his side played very well during the preparations and seeing Sandile Sibande and Jabu Maluleke gelling very well with his team leaves him satisfied.
“Although I’m not in a position to confirm the signings yet, Sibande and Maluleke are doing very well for my team. I’m pleased to have them as we prepare and they will add value to how we play if we sign them. I hope to finalise their signing as soon as possible. They’re fitting in nicely with my boys and at the moment I don’t need young players, I need guys who have been in the PSL for a while.
“I need experienced players who will guide new boys from the NFD and junior players. I need those who have played and proven their worth in the league, not just those who were on PSL club’s books. We will be ready to cause an upset come the February 5, when we face Stars at home,” said Solomons.
