The Siya crew has learnt that the name of the coaching target of newly promoted National First Division side, TS Sporting FC, Solly Luvhengo is being used in a money scam.
Sources very close to the to the NFD side and to the coach have indicated that a perpetrator by the name of Sello Luvhengo is passing himself at the former Amajita coach in order to extort money from unsuspecting parents of budding footballers.
The scam involves Sello Luvhengo asking parents to fill out fake enrolment forms to the TS Sporting academy and asking them to deposit an amount of R500 to secure their accommodation at the academy.
“There is a guy who goes by the same Sello Luvhengo and he passing himself as coach Solly Luvhengo. However, in his messages, he uses the name Sello and attributes to that to an IT error,” revealed the Siya source.
“One of the parents has alerted the team about this character. We want to urge all parents to not take instructions from communication that does not officially come from the club,” added the source.
Meanwhile, the crew understands that Solly Luvhengo has been appointed as the TS Sporting Head Coach with the club close to officially making the announcement.
