Several players are still on the hunt for a new club and Soccer Laduma takes a look at eight of those players who are currently free agents.
The July/August transfer window closed shut on Monday evening and while not bound the deadline day, there are several players who are yet to make transfers elsewhere.
Lebese officially received his clearance from Mamelodi Sundowns on Monday, where he can finally move on from the Brazilians. However, the midfielder is yet to find his next destination.
Onyango parted ways with Maritzburg United at the end of last season. However, the player is yet to put pen to paper with a new club.
After being released from his contract with Kaizer Chiefs, Mario Booysen is still on the lookout for a new club.
Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala:
After his stint in Turkey with BB Erzurumspor came to an end, Shabba is now a free agent and still on the hunt for a new club and is still linked with a move back abroad.
Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane:
Yeye seems on the verge of joining up with Highlands Park, however, a deal is yet to be confirmed by the club. As things stand the player is still a free agent.
Robyn Johannes and Prince Nxumalo:
As confirmed yesterday by the Siya crew, both players have been released by Bidvest Wits and are free agents, with no confirmation of either having found new clubs as yet.
After leaving Chippa United, Mayambela was training with Highlands Park, however, is no longer at the club. The player is still a free agent.
