The July/August transfer window is in full swing and Soccer Laduma takes a look at seven of the current free agents who are yet to find new clubs for the new season.

Lebogang Manyama:
Manyama was recently released from his contract with Atiker Konyaspor in Turkey, with the player having been strongly linked with a move back to South Africa. The likes of Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns are all believed to be showing interest in the former Cape Town City midfielder, however, the 27-year-old is yet to put pen to paper on a contract with a club.
Tsepo Masilela:
Masilela parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs on June 30, with the Soweto giants opting against exercising the added one-year option on the player’s deal. The 33-year-old is believed to be on the lookout for a new club, however, there has been no word on where he will be playing his football in the current 2018/19 campaign.
Sibusiso Masina:
City recently parted ways with Masina and it is yet to be revealed where the player will be plying his trade in the new season.
Vincent Kobola:
The veteran defender also parted ways with City on June 30 and has been linked with a move to Ajax Cape Town, with Head Coach Muhsin Ertugral eager to bolster his squad and fight for promotion back to Mzansi’s top flight.
Mahlatsi Makudubela:
Makudubela recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates upon his return from his loan stint with Chippa United last season. The player is still currently a free agent.
Mzikayise Mashaba:
The former Sundowns left-back is yet to find a new footballing home after several months. Mashaba was recently training with Chiefs, although sources have revealed that the player is no longer at Naturena and back on the hunt for a new club in the 2018/19 season.
Tokelo Rantie:
Rantie is believed to be a free agent after his time in Turkey came to an end on June 30. The Bafana Bafana international has also been heavily linked with a return to Mzansi, with Sundowns one of the suitors believed to be interested in the player.
These players, amongst several other free agents in the country, will not be bound by the transfer window which closes shut on August 31 and will be free to join up with any interested club at any time.
