10 Possible Transfers That Could Take Place In July/August

The July/August transfer window is just over a month away, with some teams in the Absa Premiership believed to have already identified certain areas in their squads that needs change.

According to indications from Siya sources in the past weeks, here are 10 of the many transfers and deals that could take place in the upcoming transfer window.

Bradley Grobler a possible target for Orlando Pirates:

According to Siya sources, Pirates are keen on bolstering their attacking department in the new season and sources have revealed that Grobler’s name has been mentioned as a possible target although there could be stumbling blocks.

Taariq Fielies could move to Middle East, Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns or Kaizer Chiefs:

Siya sources have revealed that Fielies from Cape Town City could be on the move in the upcoming window. According to the club’s chairman, John Comitis, the player is destined for a move to the Middle East. However, the big three continue to show interest in the player.

Chiefs or Sundowns enquiries about Kodjo Fo-Dah Laba:

As reported in the past weeks by the Siya crew, the Togo international’s name is believed to have made it to the wishlist of both Sundowns and Chiefs and it remains to be seen whether the duo will enquire about his services. 

James Keene likely to club abroad: 

Keene’s contract with SuperSport United will come to an end on June 30 and while a move elsewhere in the PSL can not be ruled out, indications are that the player could return to Europe.

Nyiko Mobbie discussions with Wits and City:

According to Siya sources, Free State Stars are believed to be in discussions with both Bidvest Wits and City about a transfer for Mobbie.

Lucky Mohomi possibly to SuperSport:

According to Siya sources, SuperSport are still showing interest in Mohomi and indications are that they could approach the Brazilians for his services once more in the upcoming transfer window. 

Fortune Makaringe to Pirates:

As things stand, Makaringe’s move to Pirates is as good as done, although there is yet to be confirmation from either party.

Siphesihle Ndlovu could leave Maritzburg: 

According to Siya sources, Ndlovu is still set to leave the Team of Choice, with the player having been linked to Sundowns in the past although it remains to be seen where he will go.

George Lebese, Jeremy Brockie and Aubrey Ngoma’s future to be decided on: 

The Sundowns trio have been heavily linked with an exit from the club and it remains to be seen where they will move in the July/August transfer window.
