PSL
SL Team Of The Week

Soccer Laduma brings you the country's most prestigious and authoritative 'Team of the Week'!
This week's selection is based on performances from mid-last week and the past weekend's round of Absa Premiership fixtures.
Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic picked up imperative victories in their respective ties during the week, but the same did not happen on the weekend as Wits lost at home to Phunya Sele Sele. The Amakhosi were held to a 0-0 draw by nemesis Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby, but Ajax Cape Town returned to winning ways following their 'shock' win over SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
PSL defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns also bounced back from their defeat at the hands of the Clever Boys by claiming a hard fought 2-0 win over Free State Stars in Bethlehem.
The University of Pretoria also narrowly beat Maritzburg United 1-0 at Tuks Stadium, with Platinum Stars getting the better of Moroka Swallows with the same scoreline.
The team will always be set up in a standard 4-4-2 formation, selected by Soccer Laduma's team of respected journalists.
Simply put, the 'Team of the Week' reflects the best 11 players that competed during the weekly cycle and is published in the latest Soccer Laduma out every Wednesday.
