SuperSport United will welcome University of Pretoria at Lucas Moripe Stadium to honour their league encounter tonight.
The Siya crew caught up with Matsatsantsa a Pitori’s communications manager, David 'Mazolman' Skosana, who told the Siya crew that their game will not be a walk in the park as some of their key players are either injured or suspended.
“Well, I can’t say we’re preparing very well because our squad is crippled you know. Our players are injured and out with suspensions so we are struggling I must say. Sibusiso Khumalo has added to that injury list as he suffered a concussion in our midweek game against AmaZulu. It’s up to the coach to see how he selects his team but it’s tough and we have too many games, remember we’re going to Botswana next week to face Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
“Obviously we played well against Pirates but lost our second game to AmaZulu. We have to juggle around and change our plan to face Tuks. We have players like Sibusiso Zuma who can step in and change our fortunes tomorrow. We have to use anyone who’s available including the youngsters but that all depends on the coach you know. Our team is playing good football but we are sometimes found wanting because we lack depth due to injuries. It was a tough one in the first round and this time around, it’s not different. They know we’re handicapped and they’ll plan to capitalise on that, but we have to work hard and get something out of the game," added Mazolman.
