Since the establishment of John Comitis’ outfit, City has continued to attract supporters in Cape Town, quickly building a growing fan-base in the Mother City.

During the Cape Town derby against Ajax Cape Town at the weekend, it was clear to see that the Mother City has since become divided in terms of support, with City managing to attract fans at the stadium and on social media despite the club only in its second season.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Kolisi told the crew that he is keen to bring the Stormers out to start supporting City at their games, as well as getting involved in some of the charity work that Chairman Comitis has gotten his club involved in.

“So, obviously, since we are both in Cape Town, the Stormers and Cape Town City, we can obviously see what they are doing with the whole of Cape Town, a lot of people are supporting them they are bringing fire to Cape Town and now we, (the Stormers) want to collaborate with soccer and get them to come support us and we will come support them. Whatever charities that they do, we want to be part of that so that we make it one thing and we get the rugby fans to support soccer and soccer fans to support rugby,” Kolisi said.

I guarantee you Citizens will benefit alot from Chiefs floor-crossing. As Bobby say ''these who not happy are free to jump out'' Citizens will benefit like Zuma from Guptas, soon City will have more supporters than Sundowns do, they will claim 3rd spot as the most supported team in the country.
