Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Simba Sithole could be signing with SuperSport United, should he continue to impress in is trial with the defending Nedbank Cup champions.
A source close to the Zimbabwean told the Siya crew that the player’s one-week trial at SuperSport has been extended following his impressive performances with the Tshwane-based outfit.
“The boy is doing well. He is still with the team. He was supposed to end his trial on Friday. There is tournament that the club will play in over the weekend so they want him to take part,” said the source.
Sithole has done well to resurrect his career with Dynamos in the Zimbabwean Premier League, and could now be set for another PSL spell.
SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt is looking to add some fire-power to his striking department, however after the signing of Bradley Grobler, it remains to be seen if Sithole will be offered a contract.
