SuperSport United’s Simba Sithole, who signed for the club during the January transfer window, said that there is no pressure for him to prove himself with the defending Nedbank Cup champions.
The Zimbabwean previously had a spell in the PSL with Mamelodi Sundowns, however did not feature in a single official game for the Chloorkop-based outfit. He told the Siya crew that he has joined SuperSport so that he can play and enjoy his game, with his time at the Brazilians being a thing of the past
“I have nothing to prove to anyone. I am just here to play football for SuperSport United. I don't want to talk about Mamelodi Sundowns or what happened there. That is in the past and I can't say anything about it now. SuperSport has signed me and I have to do duty for them now,” Sithole concluded.
Matsatsantsa resume their league campaign this week, with an away tie at the Orland Stadium against the defending league champions, Orlando Pirates, on Wednesday.
