Sissoko: We Can Lift The Trophy

Mali beat host Bafana Bafana on penalties to reach the semi-finals of the Afcon 2013 tournament in a game played at Moses Mabhida on Saturday.

Mali midfielder Mohamed Sissoko told the Siya crew that after beating Bafana they see no reason why can't lift the trophy.

Mali meet the winners of Ivory Coast and Nigeria in the semi-finals at Moses Mabhida on Wednesday and Sissoko said that game will be much easier than playing against Bafana.

"Now that we have beaten the host South Africa the only way we can go is to be champions. We knew it will be tough to play South Africa and now that they are out of our way I don't see any team stopping us. You saw that South Africa played very well but we knew that when it goes to penalties we will win. South Africa has a great future if they can keep the team together with the same coach," the PSG midfielder expressed.
