Chiefs Starlet Reveals His Amakhosi Mentor…

Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya has had an interesting year at Kaizer Chiefs following his Amakhosi debut, and he’s now revealed his role model as he looks to make a name for himself at the club.
The 21-year-old full-back will not have been expecting to start for the Glamour Boys in the 2018/19 Absa Premiership season, however, he has now played all of Chiefs' games in all competitions so far, and – as things stand – is Giovanni Solinas’s first choice in the position.
Now, with Chiefs experiencing a bitter sweet start to their new campaign, Ntiya-Ntiya says that he has senior players at Naturena who are helping him adapt to life in the spotlight at one of South Africa’s biggest clubs.
He told Chiefs’ official website, “It’s a great feeling… The technical team and the players have all helped me settle. During the match, Bernard Parker, Daniel Cardoso and Willard Katsande talk to me quite a lot, continuously giving guidance.”
On the topic of the player who hopes to emulate, the youngster said, “Tsepo is my role model, he always told me to work hard and be positive. Sibusiso Khumalo also helped a lot.”
Masilela had an impressive spell with Chiefs as he played a vital role in winning two league titles and two domestic trophies, and Ntiya-Ntiya will no doubt be hoping to follow in the former Bafana Bafana star’s footsteps as he climbs his way up the ladder in the Absa Premiership.
