The Amakhosi have drawn four of their opening five games as their 2018/19 campaign got underway, losing once, and Giovanni Solinas will be eager for that to change on Saturday when they come up against Cape Town City.
Ntshangase has played every game for the club so far as he managed to tie down a regular spot in the side, however, the 25-year-old has tasted victory in just six of his 17 appearances for the Glamour Boys since joining them last year.
On the topic of their work over the recent international break, ‘Stash’ said, “We worked a lot on our shape, where to be on the pitch at what time in relation to the ball and your opponent.”
Meanwhile, regarding his performances so far this season, and his growing game-time, the midfield maestro added, “I didn’t get many opportunities to play last season… I am happy to get game-time this season, although I am not as yet entirely happy with my performances so far. I need to get better and I am working hard at training to do that.”
Ntshangase is expected to making Solinas’ starting XI tomorrow as Chiefs take on City at Cape Town Stadium. The game kicks off at 15h00.
