Ntshangase: I Had To Make A Statement
Siphelele Ntshangase Discusses Dream PSL Debut
Siphelele Ntshangase has told Soccer Laduma that it was important for him to leave a lasting impression in his very first game in the PSL.
Having finally secured a move to a PSL club after signing with Baroka on Tuesday last week, the midfielder made his official debut in Mzansi’s top-flight on the same day, as Bakgaga played 1-1 draw with Orlando Pirates.
Ntshangase, who was linked with Kaizer Chiefs before securing a move to Baroka, had an impressive PSL debut as he was one of the instrumental players for Kgoloko Thobejane’s side against Bucs.
“Obviously very few people knew I was at Baroka, but most people didn’t even expect me to play. I surprised a lot of people and that is only the beginning. I had to make a statement that my dream of playing for a PSL team wasn’t all talk. I had to prove that I deserved it. Actions speak louder than words and I believe in that saying,” said Ntshangase.
In an exclusive interview in edition 1038 of Soccer Laduma, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder has spoken extensively about his switch from the National First Division to the PSL.
