Uthongathi FC defender Xolani Silawula has broken silence about his time at TS Galaxy after spending a short spell with the side.
Silawula was one of the most exciting defenders in the GladAfrica Championship in the 2019/20 season and was signed by Galaxy as the club prepared for life in the topflight.
Things did not go according to plan, as the defender failed to make any appearances for the club during his six-month stay.
The former AmaZulu youngster has finally spoken about his time at The Rockets as he feels there were fair chances to showcase his talent.
"All I can say, I didn't get a fair chance to showcase my talent. People were impressed about me, even they were really happy but I don't know what happened because things change suddenly and I didnt even play one game," Silawula told the Siya crew.
"I would've understood if they judged me on my perfomances but since I couldn't even make one appearance, I don't know why it happened like that. They've never spoken to me. Nothing was explained to me and I was relieved to be released because I was ready to leave."

Despite being disappointed by the experience, Silawula still hopes to return to the DStv Premiership.
"It didn't affected me alot mentally, but I wasn't okay for a moment. It was confusing that a team that really wanted me can change their mind like that. I still hope to return to the DStv Premiership, it is still my dream."
