Sibusiso Vilakazi has topped the list of Pitso Mosimane’s new signings to make a debut against Orlando Pirates this weekend.
The Brazilians will take on the Bucs in a semi-final showdown at the Dr. Hage Geingob Cup on Saturday, August 6 at 16h00, at the Independence Stadium.
However, with the absence of midfielder Keagan Dolly, who is currently in Brazil partaking in the 2016 Olympic Games, Mosimane could look to introduce Vilakazi in his place.
“Top of the list of players who will make the starting line-up is Sibusiso Vilakazi, who joined the Chloorkop giants recently,” the club stated on their official website.
The club has also revealed that Ricardo Nascimento may get his chance to impress in the center-back position and with Mosimane looking to rest Hlompho Kekana, Lucky Mohomi is at the top of the pecking order to replace the midfielder.
“Mosimane may also try a central defence combination with Brazillian Ricardo Nascimento and perhaps Soumahoro Bangaly, and new signing Lucky Mohomi given a midfield role in place of Hlompo Kekana, who has also been running his feet off in both the league and CAF campaigns,” the club added.
Sundowns will look to continue on their winning ways, as they look to win the Geingob cup for the third time.
