A Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder looks to be on the mend, after picking up an injury that has kept him out of action for several months.
Sibusiso Vilakazi ruptured his Achilles tendon in October last year while on duty for Bafana Bafana, with the player having since under went surgery and rehabilitation.
The midfielder was ruled out of action for the rest of the season, as he looks to make a full recovery before re-joining the Brazilians next season in their pursuit for both domestic and continental glory.
However, it seems that 29-year-old is so far making a positive recovery, with Sundowns revealing that the player has started training with the team.
“Look who’s back at training Masandawana,” Sundowns tweeted on their official Twitter account.
