A return to the Mother City is being bandied about for former Cape Town City midfielder Sibusiso Masina as his representatives plan his next move.
Having joined Swallows in September last year, the 30-year-old is assessing his options as he looks to return to the top flight next season, after his contract expired at the GladAfrica Championship club.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Masina’s representative Gerald Baloyi confirmed that the player is keen on a return to the Cape.
According to Baloyi, informal talks have taken place with the Citizens about the player’s potential return to the club, although nothing has been finalised.
“We have had talks with Cape Town City as Sibusiso Masina is keen to go back to the club,” said Baloyi.
Masina previously played for Free State Stars and Mpumalanga Black Aces, among other clubs in his career.
