Gaxa/Chiefs Case Ongoing, Begins Club Search
Siboniso Gaxa’s Dispute Resolutions Chamber hearing with Kaizer Chiefs is taking longer than expected, and may now only be finalised next month.
The matter of unfair dismissal was heard before the DRC yesterday, however, the complexities of it have seen it set for completion on October 18th with the player still waiting for a final answer on the way forward.
‘Pa’ is complaining about the fact that Chiefs announced that they would not be extending his contract with the club at the end of the season, despite the fact that they had already confirmed a new two-year deal, and his representative is stil confident that they will be on the winning side.
Speaking to the Siya crew after a long day at the DRC yesterday, Binkin explained that they are now looking to get Gaxa’s career back on track, saying, “We’re now intensifying our search for a club for Pa due to the length of this process, but I’m still confident that the truth will come out eventually.”
The Siya crew will continue to monitor Gaxa’s situation in the coming weeks, however he will now have to wait until midway through next month to get a final decision on his dispute with the Amakhosi.
