Chiefs, Gaxa Set For Hearing Tomorrow
The matter involving Kaizer Chiefs and Siboniso Gaxa could finally be put to bed tomorrow, with the involved parties set for the Dispute Resolutions Chamber.
Gaxa, 32, and the Amakhosi’s management have been in a dispute for several months now after the club announced their decision not to renew his contract at the end of the season, despite having previously confirmed a two-year extension.
Following the announcement, the player’s agent, Glyn Binkin, explained that they would be taking the legal route in order to settle matter of unfair dismissal, however, it has taken a while to get into a DRC hearing.
The case was due to be heard midway through August, although a busy schedule saw it postponed until this week, with it finally set to be heard at the DRC on Thursday, 15 September.
It remains to be seen what resolution will be met between the parties following Thursday’s hearing, however, ‘Pa’ will be eager to put the matter to bed so that he can get on with his playing career.
