Once a red-hot striker for Free State Stars, Diyo Sibisi is struggling to find a club.
The hard-running marksman was released by Mpumalanga Black Aces at the end of last season and his search for a new team took him to Bloemfontein Celtic, where he spent two weeks on trial.
However, he failed to impress Clinton Larsen and is now back to square one. Although he is a free agent, no club has yet shown an interest in securing his services.
The 31-year-old Sibisi has also featured for Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United and University of Pretoria during his career.
Asked what he is up to, he told the Siya crew, “No, I’m now training on my own. After my unsuccessful trial with Celtic, I’ve come back home while waiting for something to happen. But nothing has come up yet and I’m hoping my luck changes soon.”
