Mamelodi Sundowns could decide to give Khayelihle Shozi his official PSL debut later this season, depending on the team’s schedule and the player’s readiness for football at the highest level.
The midfielder has made huge progress in his blossoming career in recent times. The SA U23 player was promoted to the first team at Downs in the July/August transfer window.
He has been registered to play for the side in the PSL. Shozi has been performing well for Sundowns in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, alongside the likes of Percy Tau and Ntandeyenkosi Ndubane.
Sources close to the camp of Sundowns believe that Shozi is looking to be ready to entertain the crowds in the PSL this season.
With Sundowns having offered PSL debuts to some of the new players in Bangaly Soumahoro and Leonardo Castro already this season, Pitso Mosimane and his technical team are believed to be considering to give more players a chance to play as the season progresses.
