The Siya crew have been informed that South African football legend, John “Shoes” Moshoeu is recovering well at home from his undisclosed illness.
The former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was recently discharged from hospital after nearly spending a month at the Johannesburg’s Charlotte Maxeke Hospital and, now is said to be recuperating well under the care of his mother Reena.
“Shoes is recuperating very well,” the source revealed to Soccer Laduma.
“He did have a minor operation but is now okay and stronger than when I first saw him…” added the Siya source.
The 49-year-old’s business manager, Glyn Binkin further called for privacy to be given to the Moshoeu’s as he continues with his recovery.
“Please let’s all respect Shoes and his family and their privacy at this time,” tweeted the football agent.
Another football legend, Neil Tovey is said to be recovering well from his multiple heart attacks.
