Shabba Fit And Ready

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siphiwe Tshabalala, is fully fit and available for selection for Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final against SuperSport United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The midfield man picked up a minor injury in the team’s recent PSL defeat at the hands of University of Pretoria, which subsequently saw him substituted for Kaizer Motaung Junior late in the game.

However, the Siya crew has been informed that the winger has been training with the rest of the squad this week and is not an injury doubt ahead of tomorrow’s crunch game with SuperSport. He is expected to retain his place in coach Stuart Baxter’s line-up.

‘Shabba’ has played a crucial role for the Glamour Boys this season, missing just one league game as the club went on to win their first league trophy in eight years.

Amakhosi are now looking to secure a league and cup double when they take on Matsatsantsa tomorrow at 15:00, although last year’s champions will be eager to retain their title.
