Thulani Serero has been declared fit by Ajax Amsterdam and has been named in their squad to face FC Utrecht this weekend.
Serero missed the 6-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles last month and the recent Uefa Champions League draw with AC Milan after picking up a shoulder injury in the KNVB Cup, but it was never considered to be a serious problem.

The player’s agent, Mike Ntombela, explained that his shoulder was just bruised and that he wasn’t expected to be sidelined for any length of time.
Having turned out for the reserves last week, the South African midfielder will be hoping that he can break into Frank de Boer’s starting XI against Utrecht this weekend as he attempts to secure a regular place in the head coach’s plans.
The recent exit of Christian Eriksen to Tottenham Hotspur has given Serero the perfect chance to stake his claim for a starting place and there is no doubt that he wants to grasp the opportunity with both hands.
Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund says that he will only consider Serero again for the national team once the midfielder has responded to a letter sent to him by SAFA following his being sent from the national team camp last month.
