Bafana Bafana assistant coach, Serame Letsoaka, has met with Platinum Stars regarding the possibility of taking on the role of their technical director.
It was revealed last month that Letsoaka was keen on a return to PSL football, with Moroka Swallows and Maritzburg United said to be interested in him, though the links with Dikwena even precede that.
Sources in Phokeng explained that Letsoaka attended the club’s end-of-the-year award ceremony recently, and the crew is led to believe that he recently opened talks with them about taking on the position of technical director.
Under Allan Freese’s guidance, Stars claimed the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout titles last season, and may be hoping that someone of Letsoaka’s experience can play a role in helping the club reach new heights in the coming years.
The Siya crew will continue to keep track of Letsoaka’s movements, as he looks set to leave the Bafana set-up following SAFA’s decision not to renew Gordon Igesund’s contract.
