SuperSport United’s Thabo September should be fit for his side’s Telkom Knockout fixture against Ajax Cape Town next month.
The versatile 30-year-old picked up a groin injury in the 1-1 draw with Mpumalanga Black Aces earlier this month, subsequently missing the loss to Moroka Swallows and the draw with AmaZulu.
However, the Siya crew have been informed that the centre-back has now resumed full training with Cavin Johnson’s side and should be available for selection when Matsatsantsa host the Urban Warriors on October 5.
The crew revealed earlier this week that both Sibusiso Zuma and Jino Moeketsi have returned to training with the first team following their respective injuries, and with September back, they could have a full strength squad avaialble for the cup game.
However, midfielder George Maluleka underwent a scan on his ankle today after injuring it during training.
