AmaZulu midfielder Kagiso Senamela could be lost to the side if the latest interest expressed in him is anything to go by. The former Platinum Stars player has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the league, including Golden Arrows and Moroka Swallows.
A source in the know told the Siya crew that the Vosloorus-born player could be on his way out of the side at the end of the season. Senamela played regularly under the club’s former coach, Roger Palmgren, however news reaching the Siya crew is that the team’s current head coach, Craig Rosslee, is not entirely happy with the player’s work rate.
The player’s contract with Usuthu runs until June and the 26-year-old may be with a new side next season.
Senamela’s teammate, Tsweu Mokoro, is another player facing an uncertain future at AmaZulu. Word is that the former Moroka Swallows player has been told to improve his performances or risk losing his place in the starting 11.
The club has signed former Free State Stars defender, Luyanda Hlongwa, to provide extra cover in the right-back position.
