Brazilian physical trainer Eduardo Langer Schoeler stepped in as caretaker manager at Polokwane City and in his first task he guided the side to a 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates.
The Siya crew revealed earlier this week that former coach Dunca Lechesa had parted ways with the newly promoted side, and Schoeler was handed the task of readying the side for the Sea Robbers - with the assistance of team manager Bernard Molekoa.
Schoeler says that he is not quite ready to take the job on a full-time basis but admits that he would been keen on coaching in the future.
"We did well," he said. "We missed a lot of chances again, and one mistake and Orlando Pirates score. It's a shame. We played good, but what can I say?"
"I told them to keep compact, to try and play more in attack. They did well, but again one more mistake and Pirates scored. But they did well, congratulations (to Pirates), they are very good players.
"(I am) certain (the result will come), if they keep the spirit and keep running - there is no other way."
When asked about his ambitions in regard to coaching, he added, "For the future - for now (I'm happy being the physical trainer). It's a lot of pressure there but we can do it (in the future)."
