Soccer Laduma can reveal that Moroka Swallows' newly-signed Bosnia & Herzegovina central defender, Boris Savic, is set to undergo an operation after picking up an injury on his knee.
The 26-year-old defender suffered a torn meniscus and will go under the knife to repair the damage.
The injury was confirmed by the Dube Birds head coach, Zeca Marques.
“Boris has suffered a torn meniscus and is going for an operation today. He will be out for six weeks,” said Marques to the Siya crew.
Savic signed with the Birds in July of this year having played for FK Rudar Prijedor in his native Bosnia and Herzegovina last season.
