Kaizer Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic bagged his 12th Absa Premiership goal of the season on Wednesday night, but was not happy to walk away with a point.
Nurkovic broke the deadlock for Chiefs in the first stanza but his goal was cancelled out by Cole Alexander in the latter stages of the second half.
Before Alexander equalised for the Clever Boys, the Serbian was unlucky not to seal the three points for Amakhosi and get his brace, after his curling strike from the edge of the box hit the crossbar.
"Thank you very much, personally I'm happy that we're back on the field, I'm feeling good. Five months without football, first-half [of the lockdown] it was just indoors. Myself and all the players used that time to build mental strength, to come [back] to the field mentally stronger," Nurkovic told SuperSport TV after receiving his Man of the Match award.
"My job as a striker is to score as much goals as possible, to help the team because we're all fighting for the same goals.
"Me, personally I'm not happy with one point but this is football, sometimes you win, sometimes you draw, sometimes you lose. It doesn't matter, what we have to do now is to focus on the next game," he added.
