The Siya crew has been led to believe that former Kaizer Chefs striker Samir Nurkovic has penned a two-year deal with a DStv Premiership side.
Nurkovic is back in South Africa after spending a few weeks in Serbia with his family while weighing up his options.
And indications are that the striker is set to be unveiled as a Royal AM player this afternoon.
The 30-year-old striker has signed a two-year deal with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit, which includes an option for a further year.
A source close to the situation revealed that Royal AM will make the announcement of Nurkovic’s arrival around 15:00 today.
The Serbian hitman was one of the big names shown the exit door at Chiefs, a club, where he became a popular figure during his three-year stint.
He started his Amakhosi career like a house on fire, scoring 14 goals in his first season, but injuries derailed his progress as he struggled for goals in his last two seasons in Soweto.
