Sameehg Doutie is back and available for selection for SuperSport United ahead of their Nedbank Cup game against Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow afternoon.
The tricky midfielder has missed a number of Matsatsantsa’s games off late after picking up a hamstring injury, though it seems that he’s now fully recovered and able to try and regain his place in the side.
According to Siya crew sources, the 24-year-old returned to full training this week and is vying for a place in Cavin Johnson’s starting XI when they take on the Amakhosi in the Nedbank quarterfinal.
While Doutie is available for selection, it remains to be seen whether he will make Johnson’s 18-man match-day squad, especially given the fact that he hasn’t played competitive football for a number of weeks now.
SuperSport don’t have any suspension worries ahead of the tie, while Chiefs have Morgan Gould missing after he was booked in the 1-0 defeat to Mpumalanga Black Aces in midweek.
