News reaching the Siya crew is that Free State Stars defender Mbuyiselo Sambu has resumed training after a long absence due to injury.
Sambu is yet to play in an official game for Ea Lla Koto this season, having struggled with a recurring calf injury.
According to a Soccer-Laduma source close to Sambu, Stars’ medical team has given the defender the go ahead to resume training.
Stars have had a number of players struggling with injury this season and as a result Steve Komphela and his technical team have been forced to somewhat reshuffle the squad.
Stars midfielder Enva Wiltwer has been moved to the back to strengthen the defence in the absence of a natural right back.
