Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Jacob Sakala struggled to hold his delight after his side ran out a 2-1 win away to Santos in a PSL promotion/relegation match on Thursday.
Aces responded brilliantly after going a goal down at the Cape Town Stadium, with Thabo Qalinge sparking a superb comeback, and Sakala praised his players for sticking to the plan.
"I want to say thank God - things are happening. You might think it's a miracle, it's not a miracle. All that I'll say is that the boys played to the game plan," he said.
"I told them that they (Santos) would come fast and be on top of us. Let's give them their time, but let's keep positioning and when we do that they will keep losing focus bit by bit.
"We came here for at least three points. I was looking for it. It makes my job easier at home. At home we will go all out, I'm not going for a draw - I'm going for a win again.
"Thank you to the players, credit must go to them and the management, who are giving me support. Everything is going well, according to plan.
"All I can do is assure our supporters - we will do it. They must come in numbers."
Aces are firmly in control of the play-offs with six points, five ahead of both Chippa United and Santos.
