Breaking: SAFA Confirm Dismissal Of Court Application

SAFA Update On Chaotic Elective Congress

By Soccer Laduma - May 25, 2018 03:23 PM

It has been confirmed by the South African Football Association that their elective congress is set to continue as planned after the dismissal of the matter that was brought before the court today.

The Siya crew understands that an attempt to halt SAFA's chaotic elective congress was made this morning after an urgent application was taken to the Johannesburg High Court.

However, SAFA have now confirmed the dismissal of the application via their official Twitter account, and have indicated that the elections will go ahead as planned this weekend.

SAFA's elective congress has been scheduled to take place at the Sandton Convention Centre tomorrow (Saturday, 26 May).
