South African midfielder Phatizwe Sacolo will start training with Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday, as he decides whether or not to renew his contract at Swedish club IFK Varnamo.
The Siya-crew has been reliably informed that the central midfielder wants to continue his career in Europe, but is considering his options first.
Sacolo, who returned to South Africa at the end of the season after helping Varnamo avoid relegation from Sweden’s Superettan, had been training at Orlando Pirates last month.
Varnamo have offered Sacolo, a new three-year deal at the club, after the 22-year-old signed a short-term contract with the club last year.
