Weekend Report For The Bafana Boss

With all eyes on Anele Ngcongca after being linked with an exit from Genk, the player did his reputation no harm by scoring the equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Ayanda Patosi’s Lokeren on Saturday.

As revealed by Soccer Laduma, Galatasaray have shown interest in luring the player to Turkey, and the Siya crew also revealed that the player has a €3 million release clause in his contract.

Kagisho Dikgacoi’s Crystal Palace also secured another vital three points in their bid to stay in the English Premier League, with the South African hardman helping them keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Cardiff City.

Andile Jali played in KV Oostende’s 0-0 draw with Waasland-Beveren, while Thulani Serero made a cameo appearance in Ajax Amsterdam’s win away to RKC Waalwijk.
