Kaizer Chiefs are thought to be keen on coming to terms with Ryan Moon regarding a new contract at the club, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season.
Moon, despite being just 22, has played around 40 times for the Amakhosi since making the move from Maritzburg United and has since gone on to score on his Bafana Bafana debut after being called into the squad by Stuart Baxter.
Now, having entered into the last six months of his contract at Naturena, it has been confirmed to the Siya crew that the club is eager to make sure he continues his career with the Soweto giants.
Modise Sefume, the player’s agent, told the crew, “I am alive to the fact - and I’ve been advised - that there is interest to renew Ryan’s contract at Chiefs, but I can’t comment any more than that at this stage.”
Moon is back in the first team plans under Ernst Middendorp after spending some time sidelined by Giovanni Solinas, and he will certainly be focused on getting back amongst the having recently scored in the CAF Confederation Cup for the club.
